We had the most amazing time relaxing, fishing and spending time together. The Lake House was immaculate, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Top marks !! Thank you for all the little added extras, we will be back !!

Our latest review - Lillies Cabin
Well where do I start.....
Lillie's cabin is absolutely amazing. When we first arrived we had a lovely welcome from Kate.
When we walked in to the cabin it was spotless and so cosy, so well equipped with doggy bags for Syd and Queenie with bones and treats and lovely bowls for their food. Prosecco, milk, hand wash, shower gel plus lots more essentials.
The bed was so comfortable lovely soft pillows. We go away a lot and this is the most comfortable place we have stayed in. My husband loves fishing he's totally in his element. On the first day he caught a mirror carp and a common carp, next day he caught a tench, 2 mirror carp and 2 common carp. We will definitely come back if Mark and Kate will have us. I can highly recommend staying at Lillie's and fishing Lillies lake.

The Lake House began its renovation during lockdown after a suggestion from a family member. We began in April 2021 and worked tirelessly for over 15 months to create a place that would provide an unforgettable break.
Here at The Lake House we take great pride in providing you with a luxury stay we are sure will tick all the boxes. Every effort is made to ensure that all your needs are catered for and nothing is too much trouble. We are certain that once you stay with us you will want to return time and time again.
So many of our visitors promised to come back in the first year we were open and this makes us feel really proud of what we’ve achieved here.
Our lodge is the ONLY one on the lake , providing total privacy without any neighbours or shared amenities.
Although our lodge is designed to sleep two people, we do offer a sofa bed for children between the ages of 12 and 17.

Fishing at The Lake House
Roe Lake was constructed in 2021.
This lake is the home of our largest on-site fish and is a dedicated carp fishing lake.
The lake is 7.2 acres in size and with depths from 4-8 feet.
The lake was stocked in November 2021 with 100 plus carp and was further stocked in January 2022 and November 2023.
The lake now boasts 300 carp up to 35+ lbs
Currently the lake has over 150 20lbs plus fish making it an ideal opportunity for a personal best whilst chilling out in our lodge.
The lake can be challenging even for the most experienced angler but the rewards are there to be had.
Hire gear is available for a daily charge of £35.00 -45.00
We do have 4 other on-site lakes for the lesser experienced angler (subject to availability on the day)
