Come and unwind and relax at The Lake House, which offers all the comforts of home. Whether you come to stay in the winter or the summer, we provide a wonderful retreat that is both remote and private. Our lodge's advantage is that there are no interruptions and no neighbours; it is totally secluded.

There are plenty of woodland walks within minutes of the lodge and also the canal path which boasts a pub within 20 minutes walk whichever way you turn.

If fishing is your passion, we have plenty of lakes to choose from.  We have the ultimate in specimen fishing for the more experienced angler with complete exclusivity of our 7.2 acre lake just steps from the lodge. Also pleasure fishing any of our other 4 on site lakes  No equipment, no problem we also do daily hire, speak to Mykie or Mark in the shop/café.

The lodge comprises of one double bedroom with central heating and a SmartAir cool and purifying fan for the warmer nights. Additionally, when in bed, take in the stunning view of the lake through the window, perfect for those lazy days. The bathroom features a minimalist design with rustic oak panels and a stylish shower enclosure.  The kitchen is completely equipped and includes an electric fan oven, electric hob plate, intergraded fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster.

Everything you need for a comfortable day or night is in our cosy lounge, along with air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer and perfectly warm in the winter. In addition to this we also have an electric log burner, perfect for setting the mood.

There is also a smart TV which includes Netflix and a comfortable sofa bed, for an additional guest.

The exterior setting is breath taking. There is wildlife everywhere around the lake, which is surrounded by woodland. Inside the lodge you will find photographs of the beautiful Roe deer, frequent guests here at the fishery.

Upon your arrival, the hot tub will be heated and available for your use the entire time you are here. Enjoy the 360-degree view and stay protected from the elements under the wooden pergola with festoon lighting.

There is a sizable dining area with a Weber gas barbecue and also sun beds over looking the lake. 

There is nothing better than unwinding with a drink or two of something in the evening whilst sat around the fire pit watching the sunset, the perfect end to the day.

We are only 5 minutes away from two train stations and there are plenty of nice pubs and restaurants all within walking distance.
