Our new pet friendly lodge.
During our time hosting The Lake House we have realised that there is a huge demand for people wanting to holiday along with their pets and so we listened.
In 2025 we will be opening our new pet friendly lodge 'Lillie's Cabin', named after our beautiful springer Lillie who would love running around the fishery and in particular the lake that the lodge will be sitting on (NOT Roe Lake)
Currently we are working hard to get the lodge ready and will update this page and our Instagram/Facebook pages with all the details and how to book in the coming weeks.
Our latest review
Just had a weekend here with my partner, and had an absolutely fabulous time. The lake itself is gorgeous, and full of hungry fish. He managed a great haul, whilst I sat back and relaxed in the hot tub or out on the deck. The lodge itself is gorgeously kept and decorated with everything you could possibly need. Plus extra touches from the generous hosts. All round the best weekend and will defo be back to enjoy as soon as we can

Welcome
The Lake House began its renovation during lockdown after a suggestion from a family member. We began in April 2021 and worked tirelessly for over 15 months to create a place that would provide an unforgettable break.
Here at The Lake House we take great pride in providing you with a luxury stay we are sure will tick all the boxes. Every effort is made to ensure that all your needs are catered for and nothing is too much trouble. We are certain that once you stay with us you will want to return time and time again.
So many of our visitors promised to come back in the first year we were open and this makes us feel really proud of what we’ve achieved here.
Our lodge is the ONLY one on the lake , providing total privacy without any neighbours or shared amenities.
Although our lodge is designed to sleep two people, we do offer a sofa bed for children between the ages of 12 and 17.
IMPORTANT - No children under 12 (Babes in arms only) and NO dogs

Fishing 'Roe' Lake
Roe Lake was constructed in 2021.
This lake is the home of our largest on-site fish and is a dedicated carp fishing lake.
The lake is 7.2 acres in size and with depths from 4-8 feet.
The lake was stocked in November 2021 with 100 plus carp and was further stocked in January 2022 and November 2023.
The lake now boasts 300 carp up to 35+ lbs
Currently the lake has over 150 20lbs plus fish making it an ideal opportunity for a personal best whilst chilling out in our lodge.
The lake can be challenging even for the most experienced angler but the rewards are there to be had.
Hire gear is available for a daily charge of £35.00 -45.00
We do have 4 other on-site lakes for the lesser experienced angler (subject to availability on the day)
